Assistant Electrical Project Manager

Responsibilities and Duties
  • The Assistant Project Management is responsible for the documentation of electrical projects. Tasks will include, however not be limited to:
  • Review project drawings and specifications.
  • Create material lists.
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers.
  • Obtain equipment submittals from suppliers.
  • Create miscellaneous submittals for conduit, wire, fittings, etc.
  • Create RFIs.
  • Obtain/compile operation & maintenance manuals.
  • Setting up new projects in project management software and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with procurement team on issuing purchase orders for equipment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on scheduling testing and startups.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe PDF.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical equipment & material.
  • Knowledge of Procore software is helpful, however not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Able to work Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (We don’t typically work full days on Fridays).
Income
  • $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year.
