Assistant Electrical Project Manager
Responsibilities and Duties
- The Assistant Project Management is responsible for the documentation of electrical projects. Tasks will include, however not be limited to:
- Review project drawings and specifications.
- Create material lists.
- Obtain quotes from suppliers.
- Obtain equipment submittals from suppliers.
- Create miscellaneous submittals for conduit, wire, fittings, etc.
- Create RFIs.
- Obtain/compile operation & maintenance manuals.
- Setting up new projects in project management software and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement team on issuing purchase orders for equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on scheduling testing and startups.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe PDF.
- Basic knowledge of electrical equipment & material.
- Knowledge of Procore software is helpful, however not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Able to work Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (We don’t typically work full days on Fridays).
Income
- $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year.
